If you propose to a man be ready to pay his groom price. Let men be men. (This is Africa) So there is this latest trend of ladies proposing to their men leading to different questions; whether propose or not. My take on the matter; It is not proper for a woman to propose to a man. This is not because a woman is not permitted to express her feelings but because marriage proposal do not end at the acceptance (The word YES) in Africa. Men have this nature of going for what they want. If a man truly wants something, he doesn’t sleep until he has gotten it. If he truly loves you and sincerely wants to be with you, he will do everything possible to get you.  If he hasn’t proposed to you yet, then there is something holding him back. Proposing for a man shows he is ready for the responsibilities that comes with marriage. If he has not proposed, then he is not ready, you proposing to him will not automatically make him ready. Double dating will give you sleepless/restless nights. You sure need your beauty sleep. Double dating is something quite common in relationships this days but then it has being in existence. Some people actually prefer to be in relationship with more than one person, most often they see it as a backup plan (things like I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket). I have not come to tell anyone not to double date but to point out my view. As it’s a new year, one of my resolutions is; ‘not to talk too much’ so I will be as brief as possible in pointing out my opinion.
