PROPOSE OR NOT TO PROPOSE



If you propose to a man be ready to pay his groom price. Let men be men. (This is Africa)
So there is this latest trend of ladies proposing to their men leading to different questions; whether propose or not.
My take on the matter;
It is not proper for a woman to propose to a man. This is not because a woman is not permitted to express her feelings but because marriage proposal do not end at the acceptance (The word YES) in Africa.
Men have this nature of going for what they want. If a man truly wants something, he doesn’t sleep until he has gotten it. If he truly loves you and sincerely wants to be with you, he will do everything possible to get you.
 If he hasn’t proposed to you yet, then there is something holding him back. Proposing for a man shows he is ready for the responsibilities that comes with marriage. If he has not proposed, then he is not ready, you proposing to him will not automatically make him ready. Your proposal will send the wrong signal; the man may likely feel you are taking his position as the man, as the head. yes it does seem that way and no man (African man) wants to feel that way.
If you feel he has all it takes to go into marriage and he refuses to propose, then it is not you he wants why would you then want to propose to someone who doesn’t want you?
In Africa there are a lot of activities involved in marriages mostly in Nigeria unlike the westerners we copied from, theirs only involves the two people getting married.
Africa’s marriage involves the extended families led by the groom’s family. This is our culture, every country have theirs. Take Indians for example they pay groom’s price why should we then change our culture because of civilization.
Some men cannot even be good to the wife they proposed to; talk more of the one who proposed to them.
Be wise! Self control is a virtue. Don’t throw virtue away because of civilization.
But in case you still want to propose to your man do it in private (My Opinion)😁😁😁

The issue of genotypes compatibility in relationships can not be overemphasized. Yes it needs to be continuously flog until lovers understand how important it is.
